At TATB, we pride ourselves on being an elite program for youth travel baseball, committed to developing players at the highest level. Our coaching staff consists of current and former college and professionals who specialize in advanced techniques and individualized training, ensuring that we work to reach every athletes full potential. With a focus on skill development, competitive play, and fostering a winning mindset. At TATB we believe in the development of not just skill but becoming exceptional young men on and off the field.
COMING SPRING 2025
The TATB Homeschool Academy runs during the traditional school year months of fall and spring, providing homeschool athletes with the opportunity to "Train at The Barn." Our program features on-field practices, elite indoor training, and the option for tutor help twice a week.
TATB Homeschool Academy starts at $600 per month. For an additional cost, we support students enrolled in homeschooling through their respective districts with tutoring twice a week ensuring they excel both academically and athletically.
A typical day in the academy would be consist of showing up at The Barn, completing your online school work, going straight into on field practice, hitting, and weight room/ speed and agility training to end the day.
We provide Academy Athletes with two TATB practice shirts, one pair of shorts, and a TATB hat.

Grades 6th-8th
The TATB Membership Program offers elite instruction led by former collegiate and professional baseball players, designed to develop well-rounded athletes. We focus on hitters, pitchers, and infielders, emphasizing glove work, and provide sessions tailored for softball fast-pitch hitting and defensive skills. Our program also includes arm care knowledge and training, as well as strength, speed, and agility development. Membership is $350 per month and includes two small-group bookings per week, fostering a player-driven environment. While the program generally starts at age 10, younger athletes with exceptional focus and drive may be considered.
Chaz Meadows is a former professional baseball player from Concord, California. He attended Clayton Valley High School, where he was a standout player, earning All-America honors and setting school records. In high school, he excelled both as a hitter and a pitcher, with a remarkable 0.17 ERA and a .346 batting average in his senior year.

Meadows played college baseball at Long Beach State, Los Medanos College, and Georgetown College.
His professional career began in independent leagues in 2016, and he later signed with the Arizona Diamondbacks in 2017. Across his career, he played multiple infield and outfield positions over 286 games. Meadows is a 2x Frontier League All-Star shortstop selection in 2017 & 2019 before retiring after the 2019 season
Nico Torrez is a former multi-sport athlete who attended De La Salle High School, excelling in both baseball and football. During his high school career, he earned three Most Valuable Running Back awards in football and a Silver Slugger award in baseball. Known for his leadership, Torrez led his football team in prayer and was recognized

After high school, Torrez attended Los Medanos Community College, where he played baseball for two years. In his second year, he was named team captain and helped lead the team to within one game of the state playoffs. Following his time at Los Medanos, he transferred to Antelope Valley University to complete his playing career.
Throughout his athletic journey, Torrez was characterized by his strong work ethic, focus, and determination, both as a player and as a leader. He emphasized being a great teammate, setting positive examples, and inspiring others to improve. These qualities now define his coaching approach, where he strives to help young athletes realize their full potential by instilling discipline, motivation, and a commitment to excellence.

Before he leaves for college he has committed himself to helping the next generation of baseball and softball players in his local community for Train at The Barn.
